       Golf Courses

Add Quality To Your Course

For decades we have supplied quality turf to golf courses in the St. Louis area and beyond.  We grow the most extensive turf product line in the Midwest to meet most all your needs.

We take pride in producing turf that will compliment your course well.  Our Meyer Z-52 Zoysia is guaranteed to be free of contamination from bermuda and other warm season grasses.  Our cool season grasses contain only the top performing seed varieties, and are free of contaminants such as poa annua.

We continue to be active members of the local chapters of the GCSAA: Mississippi Valley GCSA, Southern Illinois GCSA, and Heart of America GCSA.

Custom Renovation

We work with you to design a fairway renovation project that fits your course.  By customizing our machinery and obtaining the latest equipment, we are able to come up with innovative solutions to converting fairways within a budget.  Here are some examples of past work:

Zoysia Fairway Conversion with Koro Topmaker - 50% Replacement in 21" strips
Zoysia sod was installed in the stripped areas

Lake of the Woods Golf Course - Columbia, MO
Zoysia Fairway Conversion - 25% replacement in 6" strips
Zoysia strips installed 18" apart

Fairway Sprigging

An economical way to establish zoysia or bermuda in your fairways.  Our sprigging procedures are proven in the Midwest, where shorter warm growing seasons leave little margin for error.

  • We grow our own material and dig our own sprigs to ensure freshness and viability.
  • Once on your course, our machinery plants the sprigs in the ground with minimum disturbance to your existing surface.  All of our sprigs are double-crimped to ensure the maximum amount of planted sprigs.
  • We work with you from preparation to grow-in to ensure success.

New Construction: Sprigs are free from competition, allowing for quicker grow-in.

Fairway Conversion:  For limited loss of play.  Sprig directly into your existing cool-season fairways.  With proper maintenance, the zoysia or bermuda will take over the old grass.
